Job Summary
In this role, you will support the development, execution, and continuous improvement of West Pharmaceutical Services' Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) and Supplier Risk Management programs. You will partner with Category Managers, Procurement Leadership, business stakeholders, and suppliers to improve supplier performance, strengthen supplier relationships, mitigate supplier risks, and support supplier governance activities across the organization. This role will help coordinate supplier governance processes, maintain supplier scorecards and dashboards, facilitate supplier reviews, support supplier development initiatives, and administer supplier risk management processes. The position will play a key role in helping West mature its supplier management capabilities, improve supplier engagement, and strengthen supplier risk oversight.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Support the execution of West's Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) program and governance activities.
- Partner with Category Managers and business stakeholders to support strategic supplier engagement and supplier performance management activities.
- Coordinate supplier governance meetings, Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), and supplier performance discussions.
- Maintain supplier scorecards, performance metrics, dashboards, and reporting.
- Track supplier performance against key performance indicators (KPIs), service level agreements (SLAs), quality metrics, and business objectives.
- Support supplier performance improvement initiatives and maintain action logs, commitments, and follow-up activities.
- Assist with supplier segmentation activities and maintain supplier profiles and governance documentation.
- Support supplier innovation, continuous improvement, and value creation initiatives.
- Facilitate supplier risk assessment and due diligence processes by coordinating reviews with Category Managers and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Maintain supplier risk records, documentation, assessments, and supporting data within approved systems and repositories.
- Support the collection and tracking of supplier financial, operational, cybersecurity, business continuity, compliance, and insurance information.
- Track supplier mitigation plans, corrective actions, and risk remediation activities.
- Monitor supplier risk alerts and support communication of emerging supplier risks to appropriate stakeholders.
- Support critical supplier management and supplier resiliency initiatives.
- Generate and maintain supplier risk and performance reporting, dashboards, and scorecards.
- Collaborate with Procurement, Quality, Operations, Finance, Legal, and Information security teams to support supplier governance and risk management activities.
- Support supplier governance audits, reporting requests, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Analyze supplier performance and risk data to identify trends, support decision-making, and recommend opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Assist with training, documentation, and process improvement efforts related to supplier relationship and risk management. #LI-AP1 #LI-HYBRID
Education
- Bachelor's Degree Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Engineering, Finance, or related field required.
- Associate's Degree Certification from the Institute of Supply Management (C.P.M.), Project Management or similar experience preferred.
Work Experience
- 3+ years related business experience required.

- Understanding of supplier risk management principles and methodologies.
- Ability to communicate effectively across Procurement, Quality, Operations, Finance, Legal, Information Security, and business functions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, Power BI, SharePoint, SAP, and supplier management tools.
- Ability to analyze data and utilize information to improve supplier performance, mitigate risk, and support business objectives.
- Must be self-motivated and the ability to influence, motivate and mentor others and be able to work with little or no supervision.
- Strong in attention to detail, time management, versatility and hold accountability.
- Must possess the ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization.
- Must have experience in a highly technical and regulated industry.
