Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Disciplinary and technical leadership of the Mechatronics team at the Eschweiler site
  • Introduction and implementation of modern maintenance strategies in alignment with company objectives and structure
  • Further development of the workshop with regard to TPM (Total Productive Maintenance)
  • Ensuring the timely execution of mandatory inspections
  • Responsibility for occupational safety and health protection
  • Participation in project work in collaboration with specialist departments and external companies
  • Organization, coordination, and supervision of external contractors
  • Conducting and initiating risk assessments 

Education

  • Completed vocational training in electrical engineering with further qualification as a technician or master craftsman, or a comparable qualification

Work Experience

  • At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in maintenance within a manufacturing company

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Confident use of MS Office and good knowledge of SAP
  • Good GMP and ISO knowledge, as well as experience working on projects
  • Good command of English
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, hands-on mentality, and customer orientation
  • High level of responsibility, flexibility, and reliability
