Job Summary

The Senior Specialist, Supply Planning is responsible for end to end execution of short- to mid-term supply for HVP manufacturing sites to ensure reliable and consistent customer service. This role operates within defined supply planning parameters and policies, ensuring alignment between demand forecasts, production schedules, sales orders, and inventory targets. The Specialist supports achievement of on-time-in-full (OTIF) performance, inventory accuracy, and service level adherence by maintaining planning master data, monitoring supply signals, review and align sales order prioritizations and statuses, and proactively escalating risks. The role contributes to SIOP/SIOE through preparation of accurate data, performance reporting, and issue identification. Financial accountability is focused on adherence to stocking strategies, minimizing excess and obsolete inventory within assigned scope, and protecting revenue through timely risk escalation. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support the end to end execution of the HVP global supply chain value stream
  • Collaborate with Commercial, Customer Service, Product Management, and Demand Planning to translate approved supply strategies into executable operational supply plans. 
  • Maintain stocking parameters and planning levels within assigned scope to support service, inventory, and financial objectives. 
  • Support product supply planning across the HVP network within defined policy guidance, including life-cycle management, technical transfers, and network changes. 
  • Analyze forecast changes and coordinate required adjustments to production plans with manufacturing sites to maintain inventory alignment. 
  • Monitor supply performance metrics (service level, inventory, capacity utilization) and escalate risks or deviations. 
  • Assist in developing and maintaining contingency and risk mitigation plans for assigned products, sites or regions. 
  • Support supply disruption management activities, including allocation tracking and volume monitoring. 
  • Manage all site-specific master data in a timely manner to support site operations from planning through execution efficiently

Work Experience

  • 5+ years in supply chain required
  • Sound knowledge of MS Office and SAP (MM/SD module) required
  • Experience developing master production schedules, and resource plan required
  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of APO/SNP (SAP’s Advanced Planning and Optimization tool) required

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Ability to comply with the company's safety and quality policies

License and Certifications

  • Manufacturing\Lean Six Sigma Certification-IASSC Lean, Agile or Six Sigma preferred
  • Program and Project Management\Certified Project Management Professional (PMP)-PMI preferred

Travel Requirements

5%: Up to 13 business days per year

Physical Requirements

Sedentary-Exerting up to 10lbs/4kgs of force occasionally, and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time.
