Job Summary

In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating the Lean savings, goals, and targets of the Eschweiler plant through the application of statistical methods by planning, scheduling, and executing optimization projects. You will communicate the project status and define and design strategic planning, including the development of key goals and objectives to identify and improve critical processes. Additionally, you will collaborate with various interfaces at all levels of the organization and conduct training.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Participate in the development and subsequent implementation of new concepts and ideas of Lean Management as well as actively promoting the Lean philosophy
  • Independently conduct process analyses, surveys, and evaluation of relevant metrics, as well as develop tools and templates for process improvement and workflow optimization
  • Work closely with production and service areas as well as provide consultation on all questions related to process optimizations and their implementation
  • Assist in coordinating the company suggestion scheme
  • Design and conduct workshops and training at all hierarchy levels
  • Conduct internal audits and accompany external audits

Education

  • Completed university degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Engineering, or a similar qualification

Work Experience

  • Initial professional experience in a production environment as well as in the Lean area and with all common Lean tools

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Fluent in English and German
  • High cost and quality awareness
  • Communication and teamwork skills
  • Methodical and structured independent working style

License and Certifications

  • Six Sigma qualification, Green Belt is preferred
