This is an onsite position requiring the team member to be onsite 5 days a week.
Job Summary
In this role, the job holder supports day-to-day operational activities in Production Planning at the Eschweiler site. The main responsibilities include planning, monitoring, and adjusting production orders while taking available capacities into account, as well as carrying out all related operational and system-based activities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Support the planning of production orders, taking available machine and mold capacities into account
- Support the preparation, participation, and follow-up of planning meetings, including the creation and tracking of meeting minutes to ensure transparent communication of information to all relevant interfaces
- Contribute to the efficient use and continuous improvement of the planning system
- Identify potential backlogs and support the development of suitable solution approaches
- Support the documentation, scheduling, and coordination of future tools and machines
- Contribute to the development and tracking of key performance indicators, and support cost budget monitoring
- Support the planning and coordination of logistics tasks and the relevant interfaces
- Contribute to the improvement of workflows and interface processes, including reporting activities
Education
- Successfully completed degree in business, engineering, or logistics, or completed commercial or technical vocational training
Work Experience
- Initial experience in production planning is desirable
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel
- Knowledge of SAP MM, PP, and SD is desirable
- Fluent German and good written and spoken English skills
- Structured and data-conscious way of working
- Teamwork skills
- Resilience and willingness to learn
Pay Transparency:
The annual base salary range for this position is €49,368.00 - €62,832.00. Total target compensation is determined using objective and gender-neutral criteria, including relevant experience, qualifications, skills, market benchmarks, geographic location, and the scope and responsibilities of the role.
This position may be eligible for variable compensation and other incentive programs in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans within the country of employment. In addition, team members are eligible to participate in the company’s benefits and total rewards programs applicable to their location and employment status.
