Job Summary
In this role, the position holder will provide support to the plant manager and the leadership team in Eschweiler with various administrative tasks, such as organizing travel, arranging executive visits, reviewing and prioritizing incoming correspondence, and preparing presentations and working documents.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Support the plant manager by liaising with customers, suppliers, and other business functions.
- Independently coordinate and support the plant manager and the management team in all administrative matters.
- Meeting & Event Management (coordinate meetings, rooms, technical equipment, transport, hotel, catering, etc.) as well as organizing external visitors.
- Travel management (bookings, schedules, visas, expense reimbursements, etc.).
- Prepare monthly presentations in collaboration with the Eschweiler management team.
- Organize several charity events throughout the year and be responsible for the charity budget.
- Administer and maintain legal documents.
- Prepare and process contract documents to be signed by the plant manager.
- Serve as the first contact person for all internal and external communication topics, such as press releases, newspaper articles, social media postings, company newsletter, etc.
Education
- Successfully completed commercial training or comparable education.
Work Experience
- At least 3 years of professional experience in a similar position.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Good computer skills and advanced knowledge of MS Office; SAP knowledge is desirable.
- Strong self-management skills.
- Demonstrate reliability and a sense of urgency confidently.
- Good organizational skills and time management.
- Proactive, discreet, and reliable personality.
- High level of commitment.
- Perfect German and fluent English language skills.
