Job Summary
As an Industrial Mechanic Automation (m/f/d), you are primarily responsible for overseeing the automation systems at the Eschweiler plant. Your main task is to support the automation team in experiments and modifications to the systems. Additionally, you contribute to continuously improving existing systems, workflows, and processes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Support the automation team with technical matters and accompany experiments.
- Troubleshoot and report process disruptions.
- Conduct, monitor, and plan inspection and maintenance work and (preventive) repair measures.
- Commission, maintain, and optimize tools, machines, and systems.
- Create, install, and adjust replacement and new parts.
- Set up sorting systems.
- Diagnose faults in mechanical, hydraulic, and electropneumatic systems.
Education
- Completed vocational training as a industrial mechanic or mechatronics technician
Work Experience
- Several years of professional experience in the industry is desirable
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Experience with automated systems.
- Experience in electro-pneumatics and hydraulics.
- Basic knowledge in machine tool programming is desirable.
- Good MS Office skills.
- Experience with SAP is advantageous.
- Good command of English is desirable.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
- Independent working style with a strong sense of quality and safety awareness.
