Job Summary
The Analytics, Reporting and Insights (ARI) function within West Finance is focused on delivering high-quality, consistent, and efficient financial analytics, with a particular emphasis on the Proprietary segment. Through strong business partnership and data-driven insight, the ARI team develops and delivers relevant, reliable, flexible, and accessible reporting, KPIs, and analytics solutions that support strategic decision-making across the organization.
The Senior Manager, ARI will lead a high-performing team of analysts responsible for designing, developing, and continuously enhancing financial reports, dashboards, and analytics capabilities. This role requires both a strategic mindset and strong technical depth, with the ability to connect finance priorities to scalable reporting solutions, sound data architecture, and modern analytics tools, including AI. The ideal candidate will combine strong financial and analytical acumen with the creativity and technical skill to develop visually engaging, intuitive dashboards that communicate complex information with clarity and impact. This person will understand stakeholder needs, influence decisions, and translate business questions into practical, high-value analytics and reporting solutions.
Working closely with the ARI Director, FP&A leadership and cross-functional stakeholders, the Senior Manager will deliver actionable analytics grounded in a strong understanding of end-to-end finance processes and key financial metrics. The role will also help shape the reporting environment by driving consistency in data definitions, strengthening data architecture, and enhancing the usability and visual impact of dashboards and management reporting. This position will also help advance AI-enabled finance analytics by identifying opportunities to apply AI and automation to improve reporting efficiency and insight generation, including use cases such as automated variance commentary, intelligent insights, and AI agents that simplify interaction with financial data.
A key focus of the role is the development of polished, engaging, and strategically meaningful dashboards and analytics solutions that provide clarity, highlight performance drivers, and support better decision-making. The position will serve as a key enabler of a more effective and future-ready FP&A organization.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead the ARI FP&A team in delivering high-quality analytics, reporting, and dashboard solutions for business partners.
- Improve reporting timeliness, accuracy, and efficiency through standardization, automation, and reduction of manual Excel-based processes.
- Consolidate Operating Unit results into a consistent segment-level view and deliver standard monthly performance reporting.
- Design and maintain reporting templates and frameworks that enable consistent definitions, efficient roll-ups, and comparable performance views across Operating Units.
- Partner with Corporate FP&A and Digital Business Integration (DBI) to strengthen systems, data models, and reporting architecture for more agile managerial reporting.
- Build strong relationships across Finance and the broader business to understand stakeholder needs and translate them into effective analytics solutions.
- Maintain strong governance for Finance data and analytics tools, including data quality, consistency, ownership, and controls.
- Enhance dashboards and reports to improve usability, scalability, reliability, automation, and visual impact.
- Drive development of engaging dashboards and new capabilities such as drilldowns, self-service analytics, and embedded commentary.
- Advance AI-enabled analytics by identifying and applying opportunities for automation, intelligent insights, AI agents, and variance commentary.
- Track benefits delivered through reporting improvements and automation, including efficiency gains and user adoption.
- Support strategic projects and cross-functional initiatives as needed
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Data Science or a related discipline
Work Experience
- Minimum 7 years of experience in finance analytics, reporting, FP&A, or related roles.
- Demonstrated experience in dashboard design, build and delivery of management reporting and business insights.
- Ability to lead teams and build effective working relationships both internally and externally.
- Extensive experience using reporting tools and systems, particularly Data Analytics platforms Power Bi, Microsoft Fabric, BW.
- Experience improving reporting efficiency through automation, performance optimization, or platform enhancements.
- Experience working with enterprise financial systems, preferably SAP.
- Prior experience managing or mentoring team members.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge of SAP (FI/CO, BW, or related reporting environments).
- Expertise in visualisation tools Microsoft Fabric/PBI.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate and influence across functions.
- Strong attention to detail combined with a commercial, value-focused mindset.
- Comfortable operating in a dynamic environment with evolving priorities.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize tasks, and drive projects to completion with tight timelines.

What We Offer
Pay Transparency (Irealnd):
The annual base salary range for this position is €92,136.00 - €117,264.00. Total target compensation is determined using objective and gender-neutral criteria, including relevant experience, qualifications, skills, market benchmarks, geographic location, and the scope and responsibilities of the role.
This position may be eligible for variable compensation and other incentive programs in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans within the country of employment. In addition, team members are eligible to participate in the company’s benefits and total rewards programs applicable to their location and employment status.
