Job Summary

This position will also be involved in a variety of cross functional projects that have impact to the strategic sourcing, procurement & finance operations organization and require project management ability, understanding of operational and financial systems, and solid accounts payable awareness. This role will play a critical role in maintaining the efficiency and effectiveness of our Strategic Sourcing organization and site objectives. This position will report to Sr Manager Procurement Operations PTP.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Centralization & Standardization: support migration of site sourcing & category management tactical activities to centralized Procurement Operations.
  • Support Stabilization & Process excellence Definition for PTP.
  • Core Team Activity - Purchase Order Management: Administer all activities related to PO requisition process and ensure policy and procedure compliance. 
    • Monitor non-compliance to policies and procedures and report as such to Management.
  • Core Team Activity – Exception handling & Goods/Service Entry Receipts Management
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve any discrepancies or issues related to invoices and purchase orders.
    • Manage and resolve queries related to non-compliance to goods or service entry receipts requirements and report as such to Management.
  • Core Team Activity - Master Data - Information Records Update:
    • Ensure that all changes and updates made to master data comply with company policies and regulatory requirements.
    • Support supplier communication in conjunction with Accounts Payables, Finance, Site Representatives, Site Business Partners and Category Management.
    • Participate in the timely resolution of critical supply, delivery and pricing issues.
  • Core Team Activity – Data & Analytics, Reporting and Documentation:
    • Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation related to procurement operations, ensuring all records are accurate and up to date.
  • Core Team Activity - Compliance and Process Improvement:
    • Ensure timely and accurate adherence to procurement policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines.
    • Identify opportunities for process improvements and actively contribute to the development and implementation of best practices in procurement operations.
    • Implementation and enforcement of Control Environment framework and controls.
  • Identify, support, manage and deliver transformation initiatives. Identify opportunities for process improvements and actively contribute to the development and implementation of best practices in procurement operations.
  • Procurement Operations team support and cross-training
  • Other duties as assigned

Education

  • Certificate in Procurement, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Engineering, Finance, or a related field, preferred

Work Experience

  • Internship / work experience - related business experience preferred
  • Medical device manufacturing experience preferred

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Able to be aware of all relevant standard operating procedures as per Company policy as they are related to the position covered by this Job Description
  • Support and contribute to Lean Sigma programs and activities towards delivery of the set target
  • Able to always comply with the company’s safety policy.
  • Able to always comply with the company’s quality policy.
  • The candidate for this position will have some experience in Strategic Sourcing, commodities, and Supplier Management in a “Lean” manufacturing environment.
  • Must have good interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, both written and oral.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, and MS Project programs.
  • Must have good analytical and problem-solving skills to adequately analyze and interpret business situations.
  • Must have good organizational, and project management skills to be able to prioritize tasks effectively and be able to work with little supervision.
  • Must be self-motivated and the ability to influence others.
  • Strong in attention to detail, time management, versatility and hold accountability.
  • Working knowledge of SAP.
  • Must demonstrate knowledge and understanding of supply chain management, strategic sourcing, inventory management, and contract management. #LI-AP1 #LI-HYBRID

5%: Up to 13 business days per year

Physical Requirements

Sedentary-Exerting up to 10lbs/4kgs of force occasionally, and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time.
