Job Summary
Reporting to the Senior Automation or Senior Process Engineer, this role will support Moulding and Automation projects. This person will support with the technical, operations, project and validation activities on selected Moulding and Automation projects, both internally and for West customers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Support Moulding or Automation engineering teams on Operations, Project and Validation activities.
- Support with raising change control requests and drafting change control proposals.
- Will be required to assist in preparing IQ, OQ and PQ protocols and reports
- Attend project meetings with West and customer
- Work with moulding or automation technicians and engineers in a hands-on capacity to better understand the technical details of the projects
- Understand the functionality of products being manufactured and the importance of validation activities and managing changes.
- Perform additional duties at the request of the direct supervisor.
Education

Leaving Certificate or equivalent

Currently studying for a third level qualification in Engineering/Quality/Science.
Work Experience
- No min required
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Good communication skills both oral and written.
- Good understanding and knowledge of MS word, XL and Powerpoint
- Knowledge of statistical software would be an advantage
- Good organizational skills / ability to prioritize and organise tasks.
- Able to comply with all relevant SOPs as per Company policy as they are related to the tasks covered by this Job Description
- Able to comply with the company’s Environmental, Health and Safety policy at all times
- Able to comply with the company’s quality policy at all times.
