Job Summary

The Sr.Solution Architect,D&T,HCM ABAP possesses in-depth knowledge and experience to work autonomously. The position is responsible for the development and implementation of SAP HR Applications. The role is proficient in the areas of SAP HR ABAP development, performance tuning and troubleshooting. Working in a global environment, this role has a hands-on approach capable of working across teams and time zones.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

•  Sr.Solution Architect,D&T,HCM ABAP.  
•  Utilizes knowledge of best practices and provides technical solution design.
•  Works closely with the process team to understand the business requirements, reviews the functional specs, develops technical specs, provide solution, unit testing and supports the process team during integration testing.
•  Works OO ABAP, CDS, SAP Workflow, HR ABAP, ODATA, Proxies-related objects.

•  Performs code reviews, debugging, performance tuning, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal system performance and stability.

•  Ensures adherence to development standards, coding guidelines, and SAP best practices.
•  Other duties as assigned like Documentation

Additional Responsibilities

  • Bridging the gap between business necessities and technical considerations, negotiating solutions, and encouraging creativity when feasible
  • Contributing to the ongoing growth and delivery of BI services, inclusive of projects, while ensuring constant protection and security of business data
  • Demonstrating keen attention to detail and a commitment to documenting processes for future reference and benefit
  • Collaborate with other sites where appropriate to ensure best practice is used and solutions are standardized and transferrable

Education

  • Bachelor’s Engineering degree or equivalent experience

Work Experience

  • 6-9 years Relevant experience in design, development and implementation of SAP applications required

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Experience in technical design with the integration with other system.
  • This role must have good experience in ABAP, OO programming, HR workflows and extensions, forms, HR Reports, ALV Reports, Interfaces & Enhancements
  • Knowledge of OData and CDS View enhancements for is highly preferred.
  • Should possess basic understanding of SAP HR modules functional aspects
  • Experience in Agile development methodology for projects and enhancements is preferred.
  • Experience gathering requirements and providing technical solution design.
  • knowledge of ABAP development workbench, Dictionary, Workflows, SAPForms, BAPI's, Enhancement Framework, RFC’s, BADI’s, IDOC, ALE and ABAP OBJECTS, IDoc Queue handling, ABAP Proxy Framework, Change document framework, Conversions and Data load methods, SPAU, SPDD and post upgrade activities, Open-SQL performance tuning
  • Must have excellent analytical, logical problem solving and technological skills.
  • Ability to work in a global and virtual environment and effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  • Good communication skills.

License and Certifications

Travel Requirements

5%: Up to 13 business days per year

Physical Requirements

Sedentary-Exerting up to 10lbs/4kgs of force occasionally, and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time.
