Title:  Solution Architect, D&T, Validation&Test

Job Summary

This role is responsible for providing the Validation and Testing support. This is a key technical role responsible for the creation of test plan, test cases and test reports for the development activities as per the Customer requirement spec. 

We are seeking a forward-thinking Software Engineer in Quality Engineering to help drive the transformation from traditional QA to AI-augmented, intelligent quality engineering practices.

This role focuses on building Automation-first, AI-assisted testing solutions, leveraging and developing AI agents to accelerate testing, improve productivity, and enhance release confidence across Web, Mobile, API, and Data Platforms.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

AI-Assisted Testing & Automation

• Design and implement AI-assisted workflows for generating Test Cases, Test Data, and Automation scripts.
• Validate and refine AI-generated outputs to ensure quality and reliability
• Integrate AI tools into the QA lifecycle across Test Design, Execution, and Reporting
  
  

Test Automation (API, Web, Mobile, Desktop, Data)

• Develop and maintain automation frameworks with focus on: (SAP testing, Devices and Desktop Applications, Data Validation)
• Build scalable, maintainable automation solutions
• Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines
• With guidance will work on SAP Manual Testing, Functional and Regression Test Automation.
• Assist in product design to guarantee adherence of test coverage for meeting end user requirements.
• Test all aspects of the product/system like function/component, system, performance, Regression and service.
• Assist Design and development team to identify and capture test cases, ensure version management.
• Setting up of test environments, designing test plans, developing test cases/scenarios/usage cases, and executing these cases.
• Apply, design and develop automated testing strategies and build automated testing frameworks.
• Record test results, report and verify software bug fixes to accept automation criteria.
• Analyze performance test requirements and develop test plans.
• Handle performance testing and present results for validating and analysis to Project Teams.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science /  Information Systems required

Shift

12:00 PM – 9:00 PM India Standard Time.
Willingness to work outside of these hours as needed.

Travel Requirements

Work Experience

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience required.
  

  
  Core Technical Skills

  • Strong programming skills in Java / Python / VB Script
  • Experience in test automation frameworks - Robo framework with python/Hybrid with UFT tool
  • Hands-on experience in API testing and automation
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines 
    
    

   AI & Emerging Technology Skills

  • Experience with AI-assisted development/testing tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT etc.)
  • Basic understanding of:
    • Prompt engineering
    • Evaluating AI-generated outputs
  • Exposure to LLM-based workflows, agents, or automation using AI
    
    

   Testing & QA Skills

  • • Strong understanding of:
      • Test design techniques
      • Functional and non-functional testing
      • Defect lifecycle and root cause analysis
    • Experience with risk-based testing approaches

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• An understanding of the software development life cycle as well as the business approach for the product
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Manage customer expectations regarding estimated response times for issue resolution.
• Resolving the issues through Phone, chat, and email communication channels.
• Meet SLAs like response and resolution times with help of Functional and Technical team.
• Collaborate with Functional and Technical Support team members to properly manage customer inquiries and escalate when appropriate.
• Own customer technical issues from initial report to resolution, communicating with customers regularly regarding issue status.
• Run monitoring reports for usage, performance, and/or availability.
• Document solutions for knowledge-base and bring new ideas for innovation and automation excellence into the Support team.
• Understanding of Microfocus ALM Software (Microfocus Quality Center) Testing Tools
• Experience making data-driven decisions using analytics, A/B testing, Campaign Reports, and Dashboards, Analytical skills
• Ability to work in a team as well as an individual
• Ability to work in a global and virtual environment and to effectively prioritize and execute tasks
• Able to be aware of all relevant SOPs as per Company policy as they are related to the position covered by this Job Description
• SAP Testing, SAP Test Automation and Validation is plus.
• Knowledge of Azure DevOps and Jira is plus
