Job Summary

This role is responsible for providing the Validation and Testing support. This is a key technical role responsible for the creation of test plan, test cases and test reports for the development activities as per the Customer requirement spec. 

We are seeking a forward-thinking Software Engineer in Quality Engineering to help drive the transformation from traditional QA to AI-augmented, intelligent quality engineering practices.

This role focuses on building automation-first, AI-assisted testing solutions, leveraging MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers, and developing AI agents to accelerate testing, improve productivity, and enhance release confidence across web, mobile, API, and data platforms.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

🔹 AI-Assisted Testing & Automation

• Design and implement AI-assisted workflows for generating test cases, test data, and automation scripts
• Validate and refine AI-generated outputs to ensure quality and reliability
• Integrate AI tools into the QA lifecycle across test design, execution, and reporting

🔹 Agent Development & Workflow Automation

• Build and maintain AI agents to automate QA tasks such as test generation, defect analysis, and test data creation
• Develop end-to-end workflows (generate → execute → report)
• Optimize processes using agent-based approaches to improve productivity

🔹 MCP Server Utilization

• Work with MCP servers to enable context-aware AI testing workflows
• Integrate enterprise data and test artifacts into AI systems
• Ensure secure and efficient usage of MCP-based integrations

🔹 Test Automation (API, Web, Mobile, Desktop, Data)

• Develop and maintain automation frameworks with focus on:
  • API testing 
  • Web, mobile, and desktop applications
  • Data validation
• Build scalable, maintainable automation solutions
• Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines

🔹 Quality Engineering Practices

• • Implement risk-based testing to prioritize high-impact areas
  • Collaborate with Dev and Product teams for early quality (shift-left)
  • Participate in defect triage, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement

Additional Responsibilities

Education

• Bachelor's Degree Computer Science required or
• Bachelor's Degree Information systems required

Work Experience

Minimum 3 years of relevant experience required

Core Technical Skills

• Strong programming skills in Java / Python / JavaScript / C# 
• Experience in test automation frameworks (e.g., REST Assured, Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium)
• Hands-on experience in API testing and automation
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.)

 AI & Emerging Technology Skills

• Experience with AI-assisted development/testing tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT etc.)
• Basic understanding of:
  • Prompt engineering
  • Evaluating AI-generated outputs
• Exposure to LLM-based workflows, agents, or automation using AI

 MCP / Integration / Advanced

• Familiarity with MCP servers or similar context-injection frameworks
• Experience integrating AI with enterprise systems, APIs, or datasets
• Understanding of agent-based architectures

 Testing & QA Skills

• • Strong understanding of:
    • Test design techniques
    • Functional and non-functional testing
    • Defect lifecycle and root cause analysis
  • Experience with risk-based testing approaches

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Experience in data testing (SQL, ETL validation)
• Exposure to performance or security testing
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Prior experience in building internal QA tools or frameworks
• Experience building AI agents using frameworks like LangChain, AutoGen, or similar is a strong plus

• 15% travel, including global travel
