Job Summary

As an Intern within the SAP Functional team, you will gain an understanding of SAP systems, SAP Functional Domains and relevant Business Processes and contribute to various project and operation support activities across diverse SAP domains and business functions. This role involves aiding in the configuration, enhancement, and maintenance of SAP and Integrated systems, providing support to ensure alignment with business goals and organizational procedures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Learn to understand the business vision and requirements, collaborating with cross-functional teams to define and document detailed business requirements for SAP solutions.
Assist in implementing SAP best practices to design and deliver technical solutions in partnership with digital manufacturing, west digital and Infrastructure teams.
Actively participate in team meetings and agile sprint processes, supporting the development of functional/technical solutions and features.
Support in providing functionality that meets defined business needs, assisting in the documentation and validation of user stories, gaps and tasks in Dev Ops.
AI First Attitude and Strategy – Learning and leveraging in building effective solutions by integrating generative AI effectively with SAP and their UI/UX applications,
Contribute to system support and maintenance efforts, ensuring these align with organizational standards, regulatory requirements, and procedural norms.
Assist in the creation and maintenance of validation documentation, including SOPs, work instructions, and system lifecycle documents in compliance with company policies.
Engage in system and data monitoring activities to ensure efficiency and reliability.
Collaborate with senior team members on Project, Change and Incident management activities, data analysis, and interface monitoring.
Participate in the Change Control process and adhere to all relevant organizational regulations.

Education

Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Electronics/Mechanical/Production, Business Administration, or a related field.
Prior exposure to SAP or related ERP systems through coursework or projects is beneficial.
Familiarity with Gen-AI, SAP S/4 Hana, Scrum methodologies or ITIL practices (Preferred, but not mandatory).

Basic understanding of SAP functionality and business aspects across various functional domains.
Stay informed on the latest trends and updates in ERP systems and SAP solutions.

Demonstrate sound judgment with an ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Willingness to travel globally, if necessary, to support business needs.
Ability to comply with all relevant safety, quality, and procedural policies within the organization.

Travel Requirements

10%: Up to 26 business days per year

Physical Requirements

Sedentary-Exerting up to 10lbs/4kgs of force occasionally, and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time.
