Job Summary

This position will assist the development team in Quality Assurance of the company's software offering. This role will work with an international team to bring the power of IoT in the Pharmaceutical space to enable more efficient and effective production flow, as well as instrumentally contribute to West Pharma IoT internal and customer-facing capabilities.

We are seeking a Graduate Intern to join our dynamic team. The Graduate Intern, D&T, Validation & Testing requires the knowledge to participate in the development and enhancement of applications. This level role provides the opportunity for exposure to fundamental principles and concepts.

The ideal candidate will have good programming skills and will work closely with our senior engineers to design, develop, and maintain software applications.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Work in the Quality Assurance team to implement manual and programmed automation testing.
Perform automated testing programming.
Work on real-life projects and a dedicated team for Agile/ Waterfall software development.
Collaborate with the Test Automation Architects and assist in Framework development and Implementation using Python, Pytest, Azure Devops and Robot Framework.
With guidance Write high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code that meets design specifications and adheres to coding standards.
Assist to develop and maintain software documentation, including technical specifications, user manuals, and training materials.
Participate in code reviews and ensure that code is tested thoroughly and meets quality standards.
Support to Troubleshoot and debug software issues to identify and resolve bugs and performance issues.
Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in software development.

Education

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or equivalent is required.
Basic programming ability in Python.

Work Experience

A minimum of 0-1year of related expereince is preferred.

Good to have exposure in software development and software testing life cycle as well as the business approach for the product.
Knowledge of database technologies such as SQL Server.
Basic Understanding of Microfocus ALM, UFT (Testing Tool) and VBScript.
Familiarity with software development methodologies such as Agile and Scrum.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with other developers, functional teams, and project managers.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to work in a global and virtual environment and to effectively prioritize and execute tasks
Able to be aware of all relevant SOPs as per Company policy as they are related to the position covered by this Job Description.

Physical Requirements

Sedentary-Exerting up to 10lbs/4kgs of force occasionally, and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time.

Shift

Occasional on-call work required
Prefer 12pm – 9pm India time. Willingness to work outside of these hours as needed.
