Job Summary

This role is responsible for providing the Validation and Testing support. This is a key technical role responsible for the creation of test plan, test cases and test reports for the development activities as per the Customer requirement spec. The role involves hands-on work around validation and testing, quality-oriented validation test and reporting activities across the various projects or programs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Understanding of product development lifecycles, design change and document change control, process verification and validation methodologies, manufacturing / production process control methodologies, and servicing.
Work closely with hardware and firmware engineers to develop test strategy.
Work on Design Verification and Validation test activities
Experience with electronic test equipment
Perform Design FMEA with guidance for the hardware and software module by discussing with hardware/Software design engineers and principal Architect
Report defects found during testing on the test management system and track defect status periodically.
Analyze and troubleshoot root cause problems with the product.
Successfully communicate appropriate project information to cross functional teams.

Additional Responsibilities

Education

Bachelor's Degree Computer Science required or
Bachelor's Degree Information systems required

Work Experience

Minimum 3 years of relevant experience. required

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Software reliability and automation tools.
Must have understanding on Hardware and Software Development tools.

License and Certifications

Travel Requirements

10%: Up to 26 business days per year

Physical Requirements

Sedentary-Exerting up to 10lbs/4kgs of force occasionally, and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time.
