Job Summary

The Associate Software Engineer, D&T, Mobile Apps Dev supports the design, development, testing, and maintenance of cross-platform mobile applications. The role works closely with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions while building technical expertise in .NET MAUI and related technologies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Cross-Platform Mobile Development – Participate in the development and maintenance of cross-platform mobile applications using .NET MAUI or equivalent frameworks for iOS, Android, and Windows platforms.
User Interface Development – Assist in implementing responsive and intuitive user interfaces based on approved UI/UX designs and standards.
API Integration and Data Connectivity – Support integration of RESTful APIs and OData services while ensuring reliable and secure data communication.
Requirements Understanding and Implementation – Work with business analysts, product owners, and senior developers to understand and implement business requirements.
Agile Development Participation – Actively participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives.
CI/CD and Deployment Support – Assist with build, test, and deployment activities using CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools.
Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution – Investigate and resolve software defects, bugs, and performance issues under guidance from senior engineers.
Testing and Quality Assurance – Develop and execute unit and integration tests to ensure application quality and reliability.
Documentation and Knowledge Sharing – Maintain technical documentation and contribute to knowledge-sharing activities.
Continuous Learning and Adaptability – Learn emerging technologies and continuously improve technical and professional skills.

Additional Responsibilities

Education

Bachelor's Degree Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent preferred required

Work Experience

No min required 1+ years of related work experience required

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Basic understanding of .NET MAUI, Xamarin, Flutter, React Native, or similar frameworks.
Familiarity with C#, .NET technologies, and object-oriented programming concepts.
Knowledge of RESTful APIs, JSON, and mobile application integration.
Exposure to Git, Azure DevOps, and Agile methodologies.
Understanding of software testing concepts and frameworks such as NUnit or xUnit.
Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot is a plus.
Basic awareness of Azure cloud technologies and AI services.
Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively in a global and collaborative environment.
Willingness to learn enterprise technologies such as SAP and Microsoft Fabric.
