Job Summary
The Associate Infrastructure Engineer, Digital and Transformation requires the knowledge to participate in supporting, proof of concepts building, documenting, and enhancement of operational efficiency. This level role provides the opportunity for exposure to fundamental infrastructure/Network engineering principles and concepts.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- With guidance, support, and supervision, learns the overall vision, business, and solution architecture for overall infrastructure- Network roadmap including Monitor infrastructure, identify problems and errors, Ensure resolution of incidents and requests, Reports
- In your role as an infrastructure engineering intern with Infrastructure & Network team, you will support the team in designing and delivering the service infrastructure, looking into any significant operational problems, and enhancing the technical expertise of our engineering team globally.
- Assist with various projects for the infrastructure team. Writing the SOP, SOW, and maintaining/tracking operational-related tasks are a few examples of previous projects.
- Produces documents of the highest quality for the given module and learns and applies design best practices
- Works to develop business expertise and translate that expertise and business requirements into technical requirements. With support, estimates technical requirements and breaks down work to user stories and tasks
- Under supervision, learn and apply fundamental network and server configurations.
- Plans, develops, tests, and deploys various solutions using a DevOps model.
- Closely collaborates with Leads and Architects on various proof-of-concept prototypes to test solutions. solves common and routine issues.
- Performs other tasks as required.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

Work Experience
- No min required 0-3 years of relevant experience preferred
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Responsible for producing breach and other reports that are necessary for the correct operation of processes.
- They identify failures and shortcomings in the current processes and escalate with recommendations.
- Perform the necessary hand over procedures in cases where shift work is required.
- Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes, and security configurations.
- Monitor performance and ensure system availability and reliability.
- Monitor System Resource utilization, trending, and capacity planning.
- Basic understanding of at least some of these concepts, Routers, Switches, firewall, MS Cluster, File Server, Print server, Cloud, Azure.
- ITIL framework understanding.
- Ability to manage and prioritize tasks efficiently
- Readiness to demonstrate a proactive attitude
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a global and virtual environment and to effectively prioritize and execute tasks
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and utilize sound judgment with an ability to operate with a sense of urgency.

Travel Requirements
10%: Up to 26 business days per year
Physical Requirements
Sedentary-Exerting up to 10lbs/4kgs of force occasionally, and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time.
