Job Summary
The Associate Solution Architect, Digital and Transformation, SAP HCM will support collaborating with the Business users and D&T SAP HCM in various locations to define, deliver and support IT enabled business solutions for HR functions. This role will also assist determine business needs and with guidance design & deliver technical solutions for these areas. The role will provide functional and practical support and guidance with a high degree of customer satisfaction and timeliness as it relates to Human Resources Information Systems.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist in existing HRIS systems (SAP HR, SuccessFactors, etc.) in the landscape; analyze current system setup, process & data governance and perform necessary system administration and support.
- Participate in HRIS related projects, such as implementations, upgrades and/or configuration changes
- Function as a software application support on departmental projects including responsibility for testing all system enhancements
- Assist to collaborate with IT teams to define technical blueprint for HR technology enhancements, participate in requirements analysis and vet technical solutions to meet business requirements
- With guidance generate reports & analytics for various stakeholders of HR data, use data to create discovery models, generate insights and storyboards.
- Support the lead to provide consultation to HR teams regarding HRIS capabilities Remediate HRIS issues including identification and correction of configuration
- Provide technical customer support to administrative and employee HRIS users, including the resolution of tickets and known issues
- Understand, interpret and convert business processes into system configuration and workflow
- Improve internal processes and procedures by utilizing HRIS functionality
- Perform other duties as assigned based on business needs
Additional Responsibilities
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology / Human Resources or equivalent
Work Experience
- 0-2 years of experience/knowledge in HRIS role

- This position requires a critical thinker who can quickly identify issues, is highly organized, can work with diverse personalities in a fast-paced environment, and demonstrates initiative and commitment to accuracy and quality in all tasks
- understanding of HRIS database design, structure, functions, processes, HR data and their governance
- Demonstrated ability to analyze, design, configure, implement and support HR data, processes and technology
- Must possess analytical skills; work with large amounts of HR data, and use reporting & analytical technology to prepare reports, storyboards & visualizations
- Strong aptitude for learning new technology
- Previous exposure to project-related activities through active participation in system-related projects
- Ability to work independently, including managing own workflow and deadlines, with ongoing attention to ever-changing priorities and stakeholder needs
- Ability to interface with multiple users across various departments and functional areas
- Effective organizational and interpersonal skills including written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Experience with On Premise SAP HCM Modules – Primarily Personnel Administration (PA) & Organizational Management (OM) and at least one of the following: Performance Management, Compensation, Recruiting & Career & Succession is preferable
