Job Summary:
Supervision of staff and department to ensure material is received stored and shipped in accordance with site procedures. Performs functions related to order entry, material tracking, production and inventory control for the materials/warehouse department. Emphasize efficient day-to-day processing or order to meeting internal and external customer requirements as efficient as possible. Ensure products are stored, handled, identified and shipped according to business unit and customer specification and procedures.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supervises the shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations to ensure maximum efficiency of the flow of work and material for production process
- Utilizes customer orders, work orders, production specifications and production work sheets, ensuring the proper distribution to the appropriate personnel and departments.
- Meets daily and weekly production goals in accordance with Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and team safety standards.
- Orders and purchases production supplies and materials.
- Measures and reports the effectiveness of department activities, providing daily summaries and status reports
- Communicates the projected consumption of raw material, quality and volume of production.
- Monitors and adjusts resources to execute daily production and delivery goals
- Trains warehouse team, ensuring completion and proper execution of work procedures, including employee development and performance management.
- Monitoring the work performance of each employee to establish quality and quantity expectations are met or exceeded
- Ensuring employees have the necessary equipment, materials, and documents to ensure successful completion of tasks
- Contribute to continuous process improvement efforts to reduce scrap, cycle times, improve efficiency, and eliminate waste within the production environment.
- Provides a “Customer Service” attitude when interacting with internal and external customers while accomplishing work, production, and achieving quality standards.
- Maintains a clean, orderly, and safe workstation and environment at all times.

Education and Experience:
- Education: High School or Equivalent
- Experience: 3-5 years
- Minimum 3-5 years of warehouse experience with two or more years of experience in a leadership role.
- Safe material handling experience with general-purpose material handling equipment, i.e. forklift, pallet jacks etc.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Strong organizational and problem solving skills
- Ability to use all relevant systems, programs, and equipment to complete job
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Work, Excel), working knowledge of SAP
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Able to be aware of all relevant SOPs as per Company policy as they are related to the position covered by this Job Description
- Support and contribute in Lean Sigma programs and activities towards delivery of the set target
- Able to comply with the company’s safety policy at all times
- Able to comply with the company’s quality policy at all times.
Physical and Travel Requirements
- Must be able to work assigned shift(s) with overtime as required to complete assignments if necessary.
- Sitting and/or standing for extended periods may occur as well as getting to and from various locations within facility.
- Hearing ability should be sufficient to hear and react to audible alarms from distances up to 150 feet.
- The ability to be able to lift and carry various items up to 50 pounds
- Limited, if any, travel requirements.
