 Job Summary

Responsible for supporting the delivery and execution of functional programs.  Works with global functions to ensure the execution of large scale and impacting programs remain on track financially, scope is managed, and quality is delivered.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assure that the West project management process & methodology, project plans and schedules are implemented on all projects.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a project team/direct reports primarily focusing on the transformational activities at the site. 
  • Plan resources and ensure proper training and support for team.
  • Conduct routine program management reviews with Project Teams and Sr. Management.
  • Collaborate with all stakeholders (plant and/or corporate) to establish project priorities and meet committed timelines.
  • Track and report status of programs and projects. Measure and report cost and schedule performance against objectives.
  • Identify program risks and take preventative actions. Serve as primary technical contact with customer on strategic issues.
  • Review and approve validation master plans protocols, and reports. Ensure compliance to all applicable FDA Title 21CFR Part 820 regulations.
  • Provide interface to customer’s Quality-Regulatory-Compliance organization ensuring project team complies with customer’s requirements.
  • Keep manager advised of work status, workload, problems, and progress as related to work assignments. Prepare project plan, schedule, budget, and interim reports
  • Conforms with and abides by all regulations, policies, work procedures, instruction, and all safety rules. 
  • Provides a “Customer Service” attitude when interacting with internal and external customers while accomplishing work, production, and achieving quality standards.
  • Maintains a clean, orderly, and safe workstation and environment at all times.
  • Other duties as assigned


Basic Qualifications

  • 6-10 years of experience of program management in a manufacturing setting
  • Bachelor’s degree –Engineering Degree or equivalent from four-year college or commensurate work experience. 


Preferred Qualifications 

  • Six Sigma certification preferred 
  • Experience with SAP preferred
  • Highly proficient in MS Office applications


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Experience with ISO 13485 standards and GMP’s
  • Excellent organizational skills with close attention to detail and accuracy
  • Able to be aware of all relevant SOPs as per Company policy as they are related to the position covered by this Job Description
  • Support and contribute in Lean Sigma programs and activities towards delivery of the set target
  • Able to comply with the company’s safety policy at all times
  • Able to comply with the company’s quality policy at all times.


Physical and Travel Requirements

  • Up to 25% domestic and international travel
