Job Summary: Responsible for evaluating existing processes and configuring manufacturing systems to reduce cost, improve sustainability and develop best practices within the production process.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform mold qualifications, verify changes, develop set up sheets, develop processes.
  • Analyzes data and determine appropriate limits and variables for current processes.
  • Analyzes and improves manufacturing methods, utilizing knowledge of process design, production equipment capabilities, and quality control standards.
  • Implement controls on manufacturing methods using existing or new equipment to ensure repeatability and conformance to customer specifications.
  • Monitors and audits the performance of processes, equipment, and product to make recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Collaborates with technical and engineering staff to keep manufacturing line running effectively.
  • Responsible for leading the training and development regarding processing.
  • Keep manager advised of work status, workload, problems, and progress as related to work assignments. Prepare project plan, schedule, budget, and interim reports
  • Conforms with and abides by all regulations, policies, work procedures, instruction, and all safety rules. 
  • Provides a “Customer Service” attitude when interacting with internal and external customers while accomplishing work, production, and achieving quality standards.
  • Maintains a clean, orderly, and safe workstation and environment at all times.
  • Other duties as assigned


Education and Experience:

  • Education: College
  • Experience: 3-5 years
  • Bachelor’s degree –Engineering Degree or equivalent from four-year college or commensurate work experience
  • Processing Engineering experience in Injection Molding industry (3 years preferred)
  • Six Sigma certification preferred 
  • Highly proficient in MS Office applications

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Experience with ISO 9000 standards and GMP’s
  • Excellent organizational skills with close attention to detail and accuracy
  • Able to be aware of all relevant SOPs as per Company policy as they are related to the position covered by this Job Description
  • Support and contribute in Lean Sigma programs and activities towards delivery of the set target
  • Able to comply with the company’s safety policy at all times
  • Able to comply with the company’s quality policy at all times.
