Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Leading projects from concept to product maturity in compliance with planned budgets and providing excellent Engineering support by contributing experience and expertise
  • Procuring air conditioning and clean room technology as well as material conveying systems from creation of specification sheets to final validation
  • Optimizing and ensuring processes on machines and equipment, primarily regarding building services, according to relevant specifications and quality requirements
  • Planning and monitoring projects and maintenance measures with the aid of internal and/or external capacities
  • Executing and coordinating machine and equipment validations
  • Implementing six sigma strategies

 

Qualifications:

  • Engineering degree in civil or construction engineering, mechanical engineering or equivalent
  • Several years of professional experience in manufacturing companies with a focus on clean room, air conditioning and building technology, preferably in the pharmaceutical or technical industry
  • Previous technical vocational training would be an asset
  • Experience in validation/qualification, capability analysis or process analysis according to procedural, qualitative and economic aspects would be ideal
  • Lean and six sigma knowledge in addition to project management skills
  • High cost and quality awareness along with internal and external customer orientation
  • Analytical thinking and structured working as well as team working abilities and communication skills
  • Proficient German and English skills, both verbal and in writing
