This is a 12-months contract assignement
Job Summary:
This role will lead the short and mid-term supply planning activities for the AP Hubs and site (s), coordinating recommended actions between functions globally at a Corporate, AP and Hub level. The scope of this role is appropriate for the experience level in revenue, quantity, scale, and/or complexity. The role includes collaboration with site Supply Chain. Global Supply Planning and Global Supply Execution team to support the Hub activities. The role involves working with AP Commercial Team, Site Production Planner, Customer Relationship Management, Standard Reporting, Lead Time, and Inventory Management
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Execution of replenishment planning for Make-to-Stock items in the Hubs; coordinating with Global Supply Planning and Plant Supply Chain on using Genesis processes and APO tools to drive the plan
- Collaborate with Customers, Customer Success, and Plant Supply Chain in managing execution of customer orders inside and outside standard lead time for Make-to-Order items
- Resolve imbalances between order schedule and customer demand; recommend network options to support
- Manage/communicate prioritization requests between Plant Supply Chain and Commercial Team; ensuring that requests are reviewed timely then tracking/communicating actions to complete final processing
- Identify short and mid-term network capacity constraints and working with Global Supply Planning and Plant Supply Chain to balance demand and supply, provide analysis
- Manage inventories, coordinate reduction initiatives
- Identify excess/expired/at risk inventory reviews (bucket assignments, coordinate action items) with commercial and operations function
- Work with Hub leadership and corporate Supply Chain on product/item elimination opportunities
- Participate in teams on the execution of transfer activities; meeting with impacted Plant Supply Chain, Network Planners and other Functions as needed to manage production shifts between locations, master data updates, inventory builds, Sales Orders adjustments etc.
- Ensure standard reports are being used and evaluations follow standard processes
- Monitor planning relevant master data for accuracy, ensuring consistent evaluations
- Evaluate short and mid-term planning runs for inconsistencies, troubleshoot, and provide direction to Plant Supply Chain to resolve issues
- Analyze standard KPI trends
- Manage monthly Supply Chain Operations meetings focusing on yearly KPI targets and monthly trends to drive actions
- Participate in weekly, monthly, quarterly meetings to review KPI’s, lead times and other supply chain related topics
- Other duties as assigned
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree with 3-5 years' experience in supply chain or similar discipline
- Basic understanding of MRP, master production schedules, rough cut capacity plans, and resource plans
- Strong excel and report development skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to work independently
- Strong learning capacity
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Master’s Degree in related fields
- APICS Certified
- Lean, Agile or Six Sigma a plus.
- Project Management certification is a plus.
- Able to be aware of all relevant SOPs as per Company policy as they are related to the position covered by this Job Description
- Support and contribute in Lean Sigma programs and activities towards delivery of the set target
- Able to comply with the company’s safety policy at all times
- Able to comply with the company’s quality policy at all times.
Travel Requirements:
- Must be able to travel up to 10% of the time
