Job Summary:

In this role, you will be involved in Engineering procedures and activities, such as leading Lean Manufacturing processes, Engineering documentation Management, NPI projects, Test Method Validations and more.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


  1. Knowledge transfer from R&D to Production Floor, for new products, new manufacturing process, new equipment, machines and injection molds.
  2. Leading a Lean Manufacturing process for final products cost reduction and increase quality.
  3. Supporting West IL manufacturing, quality control and Regulatory activities (machines related product and malfunctions analysis and repair).
  4. Sustain engineering support for all production processes (Machines and Molds Maintenance if applicable, repairs, spare-parts and enhancements).
  5. Tooling and production processes enhancements (Molds if applicable, Automations, Jigs and Fixtures – design and built).
  6. Product Engineering Industrialize and Scale- up to mass production – planning and managing projects according to timelines budget and scope (machines characterizations, Projects Follow: URS, Risk assessments, DR’s, Acceptance tests, installations, Qualifications, PDR, CDR – Verification and Validations).
  7. Engineering documentation Management- (Documentation, Revisions, part and Product Specifications, Drawings and SOPs).
  8. Supporting validation process including Test Method Validations
  9. Knowledge of process validation statistical analysis
  10. Equipment and process qualification
  11. Other duties as assigned.



Basic Qualifications: 

  • Education- B.Sc. Mechanical Engineering
  • Experience: 5-10 years in similar roles

Fluent in Hebrew and English: Writing/Reading/Speaking

Travel Requirements:

  • Must be able to travel up to 10% of the time
  • Competencies/Authorities
  • Equipment and process development qualifications/ enhancements, transfer to production.
  • Molds maintenance and repair tracing management and supervision
  • Production Support engineer at production floor
  • Technical document according to West IL procedures (DHF/PHF Files, TEC210/RDD100)
  • Technical Communication with relevant WEST marketing persons (PSS, Key accounts).
  • Orders for technical parts according to GEN1
