Job Summary:

In this role you will focus on sample coordination (e.g. global YBB samples), due date tracking and communication between global labs and NMPA labs, and support laboratory administration & laboratory quality system.  

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Able to translate accurately the Chinese documents (eg test results, SOP) into English and vice versa
  • Be responsible for the Laboratory Management in sample workflow - the receipt & distribution of materials & products for chemical & microbiological testing (includes domestic & overseas).
  • Be responsible for West overseas labs sample coordination, due date tracking, communication between West labs and NMPA labs.
  • Support the Laboratory Management in work planning, schedule realization, result notification.
  • Be responsible for the Lab day-to-day samples administration - receipt of test materials, inventory review, NMPA lab report translation.
  • Be responsible and support the compliance of the lab data – review documentation for cGMP, log-book preparation / maintenance, record archival.
  • Support the Laboratory Management in output monitoring - preparation of KPI statistics & monthly charts.
  • Participate in laboratory general safety, 5S housekeeping, waste disposal & continuous improvement activities.
  • Quality: The job holder is aware of his/her special responsibility for quality and conducts his/her activities in accordance with the Company quality policy at all times by (i) ensuring Good Laboratory Practices and Good Manufacturing Practices are in place, (ii) ensuring all documents used are up-to-date and proper records are kept, (iii) ensuring compliance to GMP requirements for the laboratory.
  • SOP: The job holder is aware of all relevant SOPs as per Company policy as they are related to the position covered by this Job Description.
  • Safety: The job holder is aware of his/her special responsibility towards health and safety in accordance with the company’s safety policy at all times by (i) ensuring safety rules are adhered to at all times, (ii) ensuring personnel in the laboratory are donned with the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Lean: Support & contribute actively in Lean Sigma Programs & activities towards delivery of the set target by (i) leading in lean initiatives in the laboratory, (ii) supporting lean initiatives in the plant.
  • Any other relevant duties as assigned by the laboratory and QA management.

 

Education and Experience:

  • With college degree majored in chemical, food, pharma or relevant education background.

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Able to be comply and fulfill to all the relevant SOPs as per Company policy as they are related to the position covered by this Job Description
  • Support and contribute in Lean Sigma programs and activities towards delivery of the set target
  • Able to comply with the company’s safety policy at all times
