Job Summary:

In this role, you will be responsible for ordering and maintaining inventories of shop supplies required for the day to day operations for the West Phoenix plant along with receiving stock and non-stock items.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  •  Order and maintain inventory levels to support the plant
  • Provide updated inventory reports as scheduled
  • Receive stock and non-stock items into the ERP/MRP system daily
  • Stock items in assigned locations as scheduled
  • Fill order requests for supplies daily
  • Deliver requested items to areas as needed
  • Notify the requestors of non-stock items received daily
  • Properly store non-stock items until they are picked up
  • Cycle count assigned areas as scheduled and correct physical inventory in the system
  • Keep warehouse area clean and neat
  • Assist with receiving shipments as needed
  • All other duties as requested or assigned


Basic Qualifications: 

  • Education: High School or Equivalent
  • Experience: Less than 3 years in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to operate forklifts and material moving equipment as needed


Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Prior experience in warehousing, inventory and order management
  • Excellent organizational, problem solving and interpersonal skills 
  • Ability to interface with employees in all levels of the organization
  • Possess good computer skills (MS Office particularly Word & Excel) and have a good working knowledge of current ERP system


Travel Requirements:

  • Some local travel may be required


Physical & Mental Requirements:

  • Must be able to independently lift up to 50 lbs. as needed
  • Perform all other job duties as required
