This position is responsible for the generation/issuance of master batch record documentation, fulfillment of internal/external requests and housekeeping of active/archived department documents to support internal and external business requirements.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Generate, verify accuracy and issue master batch record documents including generation based on the weekly production schedule, ensuring that all documentation required for each product batch is compiled prior to issuance to production for execution.
  • Provide timely support and complete responses to batch production record requests such as inventory issuance and reconciliation.
  • Maintain document master batch record files and QA archives, so they are appropriately filed, labeled, stored and readily accessible to production operation leads/supervisors.
  • Evaluate material availability based on product Bills of Material and build schedule.
  • Maintain/update Process Order Control tickets, labels and material request release to ensure proper tracking of batch record issuance.
  • Reconcile batch controlled inventory transactions and investigate component discrepancies.
  • Review post line clearance BRP and SAP inventory transactions to ensure material traceability and inventory integrity.
  • Able to work with Warehouse, Material Handlers, Planning and Production Leads to problem solve and provide real-time solutions to issues as they arise.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, or as business needs require.


Basic Qualifications: 

  • Minimum two to three years related experience.
  • Associates degree or some college.
  • Must have experience with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system, production and inventory control functions.
  • Ability to work in a face paced environment with little direct supervision.
  • Basic knowledge of Bills of Material (BOM), Routing, batch-controlled inventory traceability and general GMP.
  • Skillful in prioritizing assignments and multitasking on a daily basis.
  • Experience with cGMP purchasing practices and ISO experience.


Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • ERP/SAP system proficiency.
  • Medical Device Manufacturing experience.
  • Able to be aware of all relevant SOPs as per Company policy as they are related to the position covered by this Job Description.
  • Support and contribute in Lean Sigma programs and activities towards delivery of the set target.
  • Able to comply with the company’s safety policy always.
  • Able to comply with the company’s quality policy always.


Travel Requirements:

  • Must be able to travel up to _­5__% of the time


Physical & Mental Requirements:

  • Must be able to work assigned shift(s) with overtime as required to complete assignments if necessary.
  • Sitting and/or standing for extended periods may occur as well as getting to and from offices and building sites.
  • If specifically necessitated by customer requirements, must be able to see with or without corrective lenses and distinguish color differences for product and safety issues. 
  • Hearing ability should be enough to hear and react to audible alarms from distances up to 150 feet. 
  • The ability to be able to lift and carry various items up to 50 pounds for manufacturing positions or 30 pounds for administrative positions is required
