This shift is 3rd Shift Thursday -Saturday every other Wednesday 5:00 AM - 5:15 PM

Job Summary:

In this role, you will support the activities of the SmartDose manufacturing processes.  The engineering technician will support Engineering and provide support to the day to day activities in the process.  Primary focus of this individual will be the SmartDose process, but other job duties will be applied per business need.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Equipment troubleshooting and repair. Including mechanical, pneumatic, electrical, and vision systems.
  • Line setup for the assembly line.
  • Performing routine maintenance and calibration duties for assembly line equipment.
  • Other duties as assigned
    Basic Qualifications:
  • Basic Mechanical knowledge
  • Basic Electrical knowledge
  • Basic Pneumatic system knowledge
  • Associates degree or equivalent experience in manufacturing environment
  • Minimum 2 Years of experience in manufacturing environment
  • Able to comply with the company’s safety policy at all times
  • Able to comply with the company’s quality policy at all times.
  • List any required certifications
    Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Knowledge of Vision systems (Cognex or similar)
  • Knowledge of ladder-logic & basic programming
  • Able to be aware of all relevant SOPs as per Company policy as they are related to the position covered by this Job Description
    Travel Requirements:
  • Must be able to travel up to 5% of the time
    Physical & Mental Requirements:
  • Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50lbs
  • Occasionally required to work on different shifts
  • Regularly uses hands and fingers to operate objects, tools or controls. Frequently required to stand, talk and hear for long periods of time in a cleanroom environment
  • Specific vision abilities may be needed by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception
