Job Summary:


This role will report up to the Senior Director of Global Tax Planning and be responsible for contributing to and/or leading a wide range of interesting and challenging initiatives, with a focus on US / international tax. In addition to U.S. / international tax, the position will have some exposure to domestic and state and local tax compliance and planning matters.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • Research and summarize complex U.S. domestic and international tax issues
  • Contribute to the tax analysis of strategic business initiatives
  • Manage  the ideation, modeling, identification, and execution of tax planning opportunities;
  • Monitor, interpret, and summarize legislative and regulatory tax developments
  • Lead the analysis supporting many key U.S. (e.g., subpart F, GILTI, the U.S. FTC, OECD Pillar 2, etc.) and foreign tax calculations
  • Manage  a wide range of ad hoc planning and compliance projects, which will include at least some federal domestic and state and local workflows
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Basic Qualifications: 

  • Education or Equivalent Experience: Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance with a Master's in Tax
  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience in Corporate Tax
  • CPA

 

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Fortune 500 or Big 4 experience preferred
  • Effective functional and technical knowledge
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a strong team player
  • Ability to work on multiple complex projects and bring those projects to a successful conclusion
  • Demonstrated success in working across multiple levels of the organization including senior leadership
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with OneSource (OIT/OTP) and/or Alteryx a plus
  • Able to be aware of all relevant SOPs as per Company policy as they are related to the position covered by this Job Description
  • Able to comply with the company’s safety and quality policy at all times

 

Travel Requirements:

  • Must be able to travel up to 10% of the time, including internationally

 

Physical & Mental Requirements:

  • Ability to work in an office. May need to stand or sit for extended periods of time
  • Ability to hear, speak, and understand conversation in English in a normal tone of voice
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to read and interpret data, information, and documents
  • Must maintain the ability to work well with others in a variety of situations
  • Must be able to multi-task, work under time constraints, problem solve, and prioritize
  • Ability to make independent and sound judgments
  • Observe and interpret situations, analyze, and solve problems
  • Ability to work independently and communicate effectively while working remote
