Job Summary:


In this role, you will have responsibility for the Supply Chain of West Israel Operations. In this position, you will be a part of the Leadership Team in Israel. 


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Supply chain management, plan and monitor the day-to-day running of purchasing and production to ensure continuous and efficient operations
  • Inventory management (raw materials and finish goods)
  • Shipments and products delivery -achieve KPI’s for OTIF(R), OTIF(P), inventory turnover. Lead Time and other relevant KPI’s
  • Plan & manage CAPEX demand according to 5 years budget
  • Plan & coordinate production activity to utilize the available production capacity as efficiently as possible
  • Set monthly/quarterly business reviews with CMO’s 
  • Constant review and evaluation of costs to promote & maximize profitability
  • Manage manufacturing &logistics activities for the R&D department
  • Manage procurement processes and coordinate materials and resources according to budget & open orders
  • Negotiate pricing with suppliers and subcontractors
  • Establish new suppliers
  • Set QBR’s with key suppliers
  • Analyzes results and initiates appropriate action to meet business goals.
  • Periodic reporting of Supply Chain KPI’s
  • Improves profitability through cost reduction, cost avoidance, and process improvements on a cross functional basis
  • Build relationships within the company and with external parties, such as suppliers & sub-contractors.
  • Ensure efficient and timely communication with customers, both internal and external
  • Ensure compliance to regulatory requirements with regards to supply chain management
  • Leading and mentoring operational excellence programs
  • Other duties as assigned


Basic Qualifications: 

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering or supply chain management.
  • Experience: 10-12 years+ experience in operational management in the medical device/pharma/plastics injection industry preferred. Prior manufacturing experience in an industrial setting required
  • Ability to directly supervise up to 10 employees.
  • Ability to negotiate contracts.
  • Experience in lean manufacturing systems and costs savings programs which affect company financial and growth plans.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Pro-active approach, takes action when needed
  • Possess excellent negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
  • Proficient in computer use including Microsoft Office/Working experience in ERP environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Support and contribute in Lean Six Sigma programs and activities towards delivery of the set target
  • Ability to operate in a high pace environment
  • Able to comply with the company’s safety policy at all times
  • Able to comply with the company’s quality policy at all times.
  • Fluent in English and Hebrew: Reading/ Writing/ Talking


Travel Requirements:

  • Must be able to travel up to 20 % of the time


Physical & Mental Requirements:


  • Ability to be on call is required.  Occasionally required to work on different time zones.
