Job Summary:
In this role, you will ensure that all production areas and equipment are kept clean in accordance with good manufacturing practices.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Clean area equipment and facilities including keeping dirt and grease wiped off from the extruders, mold presses, trim presses, electrical cabinets and other support equipment.
- Must be responsible to keep all Preventive Maintenance assignments up to date and completed on time.
- Mop floors daily around the extruders, presses, etc.
- Change mats and absorbent materials as necessary to prevent water buildup in production areas.
- Must make sure the area is supplied with absorbent materials, paper towels and/or any other needed items.
- Empty trash containers on a daily basis in the various production areas.
- Advise the area manager of any unusual items or conditions in the production areas.
- Follow all safety, cGMP and area SOI’s as required by the position without exception.
- Performs other duties as assigned based on business needs.
- Exhibits regular, reliable, punctual and predictable attendance.
Basic Qualifications:
- Experience: 0-3 years of experience.
- Must be willing and able to work as a team member.
- Make general decisions within authorized job responsibilities.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Able to be aware of all relevant SOPs as per Company policy as they are related to the position covered by this Job Description.
- Able to comply with the company’s safety policy at all times.
- Willing and able to work as a team member and make general decisions within authorized responsibility

- Self-motivated and solution-oriented personality.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good organizational skills.

Physical, Travel & Mental Requirements:
- Frequent standing, bending, twisting, reaching, pushing, pulling, walking and climbing for the entire 12 hr. shift.
- Must be able to tolerate heat and industrial odors and smells on a frequent basis.
- Must be able to work in high places (over 6 ft. high) as required and lift items weighing up to fifty (50) pounds.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts.
- Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud. Hearing protection is required at all times.
- Must follow and comply with Plant’s Dress and Hygiene Code (SOI).
- Must follow and comply with all Company and Plant policies, procedure (SOIs), rules and State and Federal laws.
