The Jersey Shore West facility is recruiting for a Quality Control Inspector to join their team!

 

This is a 3rd shift- 12-hour shift position and the pay rate is $18.60 with a $1.00 shift differential.

 

In this role the Quality Control Inspector will work as a team member to monitor and maintain Quality product/standards throughout the plant.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform Inspection compliance with a variety of Quality concepts, practices, AQL sampling plans for attribute and dimensional testing
  • Approve in-process production functions, incoming materials and finished product specifications
  • Maintain Hold status of non-conforming materials
  • Document and input data results into Quality database
  • Operate measurement equipment by following operating instructions
  • Properly clean assigned workstations
  • Regular attendance is necessary
  • Perform daily audits of the Manufacture process

 

Basic Qualifications: 

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 1 year of related experience in support of manufacturing processes/procedures

 

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Functional understanding of cGMPs
  • Basic computer skills (Excel and SAP experience preferred)
  • Willing and able to work as a team to make general decisions within authorized responsibility
  • Willing and able to work overtime within the department as necessary or advised
  • Able to be aware of all relevant SOPs as per Company policy as they are related to the position covered by this Job Description
  • Support and contribute in Lean Sigma programs and activities towards delivery of the set target
  • Able to comply with the company’s safety policy at all times
