Training for this position is in Jersey Shore, but will be moved to Williamsport mid 2024.

Job Summary:

Satisfactorily performs maintenance duties as described below.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Review, approve and revise PM tasks in CMMS database
  • Revise departmental procedures
  • Assist with troubleshooting critical equipment when called on by Maintenance Techs
  • Plan, coordinate and manage projects
  • Maintain database of equipment diagrams and instructions
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for a designated machine
  • Initiate/add necessary information to change control documentation
  • Assist with CAPA tasks
  • It is expected when maintenance activies are slow the Maintenance Specialist will act as a relief for the Machine Operator. 
  • Assist with customers’ questions regarding materials used in certain applications and when equipment work was completed
  • Assist in writing of protocols and perform test cases on equipment that has been moved repaired and/or modified including both on and off-site Field Acceptance Testing (FAT)
  • Work with Engineering group to upload and download programs for equipment changes and testing

 

Education and Experience:

  • Education: High School or equivalent
  • Experience: 8-10 years of experience (preferably in an industrial setting) or 5 years with electrical degree

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Able to be aware of all relevant SOPs as per Company policy as they are related to the position covered by this Job Description
  • Support and contribute in Lean Sigma programs and activities towards delivery of the set target
  • Able to comply with the company’s safety policy at all times
  • Able to comply with the company’s quality policy at all times.

 

Physical and Travel Requirements

  • Lifts up to 50lbs.
  • Less than 5% travel required.
