Job Summary:

In this role, you will support demand planning and the end-to-end Demand and Forecast Management. Collaborate with Sales Account Managers and Marketing to ensure that all forecast inputs are entered to produce a Demand Plan. Collaborate with Business Unit Demand Planners to review changes to demand. Use the Demand Plan, available capacity, and resources as inputs and assist with producing a Consensus Forecast. Supports the monthly Demand and Supply Reviews through analytics and preparation as part of the S&OP process. Analytical and provides insights in data and forecast and reports anomalies and deviations to the demand planners/commercial business units


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Monthly, support the production of a rolling 24-month Demand Plan incorporating and consolidating the Sales Account Managers’ inputs by customer, item, and product family using APO-DP. Perform any statistical analyses to increase accuracy of the forecast.

  • Develop, fine tune, and adjust statistical models used in any base line forecasts.

  • Support individual Sales Account Manager meetings.

  • Monitor demand planning process performance through generating Business Intelligence (BI) reports, metrics, and exceptions. Identify drivers of key contributions to error and identify actions to reduce error, bias, and deal with variances.

  • Prepares Analysis, Visualization and Insights on the demand plan

  • Responsible to manage timelines and tasks in successful execution and incorporation of the demand plan (Customer forecast/Sales forecast)

  • Collaborate with the Demand planners and Sales in documenting risks and opportunities to the forecast

  • Provide Statistical and Qualitative analysis of the True demand data

  • Responsible to provide intermediate support to the regional teams in highlighting risks to forecast and following operating procedures set forth by the Demand Planning Organization

  • Support Sales Organization with regular training and recommendations on usage of APO and BI.

  • Gain Knowledge of product portfolio, strategies and programs within Business Unit.

  • Other relevant duties as assigned.



Basic Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferred in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Sales, Business, Data Science, Information systems

  • Supply Chain Degree/Data science background preferred.

  • 3 - 5 years of experience In supply chain or related business field


Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • In supply chain or related business field. APICS certification an asset

  • Experience with leading forecasting software. i.e. SAP-APO.

  • Experience with Visual and analytical tools

  • International team experience

  • Able to be aware of all relevant SOPs as per Company policy as they are related to the position covered by this Job Description

  • Support and contribute in Lean Sigma programs and activities towards delivery of the set target

  • Able to comply with the company’s safety policy at all times

  • Able to comply with the company’s quality policy at all times.
