Job Summary:

This role will be responsible for supporting the creation and coordination of analytical services and administration systems proposals and development agreements, resulting in customer focused agreements, proposals and quotations that reflect internal West stakeholder alignment, in order to successfully drive business growth.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Supports Business Development and Services Proposals Team in defining customer and internal requirements for analytical services and administration systems opportunities
  • Integrates customer and cross-functional West requirements into proposals and development agreements
  • Facilitates, assembles and communicates appropriate information to support proposal and development agreement generation across multiple functional groups, including Analytical Laboratory, I&T, Scientific Insights Laboratory (SIL), Regulatory, and other relevant functions
  • Gains and documents stakeholder alignment to proposal deliverables and timing, including Project Management, Operations and other functions as services are needed
  • Provides support for the integration of analytical services and administration systems into standard templates and pricing logics
  • Creating and maintaining the commercial aspects of customer master data records in accordance with the requirements of the SAP Business System
  • Assisting the Account Managers in maintaining the CRM system to ensure accurate data entry and retrieval for DA’s and proposals
  • Collaborate with internal customers and West affiliates to understand customer needs
  • Responsible for creation of forms and executing the business transactions associated with the customer master setup
  • Utilize AIMS, PLM and Lab Information Management System (LIMS) and update or transfer information into SAP as necessary
  • Receive project change alerts in the case of delays, changes in scope, or deliverables
  • Work with regional counterparts to ensure globally aligned processes for analytical services and administration systems for DA’s and proposals
  • Facilitate lessons learned reviews as appropriate to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements
  • Conforms with and abides by all regulations, policies, work procedures, instruction, and all safety rules
  • Collaborate with Sample Administration, Stability Coordinator, Project Management and Lab Operations on incoming testing projects requirements and timing
  • Other activities required to support the business as called upon to do so from time to time
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as chemistry, biology or engineering preferred
  • Experience with packaging, devices, and/or containment systems preferred
  • 8-10 Years of experience in science related business development, sales operations, project management or technical support role

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Knowledgeable about parenteral packaging and delivery systems, including analytical testing and other services.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Able to be aware of all relevant SOPs as per Company policy as they are related to the position covered by this Job Description
  • Able to comply with the company’s safety policy at all times
  • Able to comply with the company’s quality policy at all times.

 

Physical and Travel Requirements
