Sr. Manager Executive Communications

Executive Communications

  • Works directly with the Chief Executive Officer; the Vice President of Corporate Strategy and Investor Relations; and the VP of Global Communications to craft key messages to support the Company’s business objectives
  • Develops a communications calendar of internal and external communication opportunities for key executives, including the CEO
  • Partners with Global Communication Team colleagues to coordinate executive messaging across internal and external channels
  • Writes speeches, scripts, employee messages, executive letters, presentations and other personalized communications from the CEO and other Senior Leadership Team members
  • Builds relationships with the Senior Leadership Team and provide coaching and direction on best practice communication techniques
  • Supports quarterly earnings communications including writing press releases, scripts and internal messages, and developing PowerPoint slides and associated graphics

 

Corporate Communications

  • Serves as the Global Communications business partner for the Legal Team, providing strategic communication support for any communication needs
  • Writes and edits press releases for executive announcements
  • Writes and manages the annual report and proxy
  • Manages the Annual General Meeting and associated communications
  • Supports the annual long-term business planning process and Board preparation with strategic communication counsel and presentation execution
  • Writes and submits company award applications
  • Writes core corporate external communication assets including company backgrounder, executive bios, website content, etc.
  • Manages other corporate communications projects, as assigned

 

General

  • Drives adoption of best practice executive communications
  • Maintains the Company branding guidelines in all internal and corporate communication creation
  • Develops measurement criteria and processes that effectively evaluate executive communications
  • Ensures proper corporate review and approval of all internal and corporate communication assets
  • Ensures a consistent global experience for stakeholders, and implement appropriate localization/translation strategies in partnership with local and regional West teams
  • Directs PR and corporate communications outside agencies and associated budgets

 

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education or Equivalent Experience: Bachelor's in Communications (PR), Marketing Communications or Journalism
  • Experience: 10+ years of experience
  • Management roles with increasing responsibility
  • Management of strategic PR and Marketing Communication programs in partnership with integrated marketing programs
  • Global Communications experience
  • Ability to work within a matrixed global organization
  • Executive communication experience
  • Top-tier media relations skills
  • Experience in partnering with Investor Relations
  • Event Management experience
  • Budget management skills
  • Crisis management experience
  • Experience managing a PR and/or advertising agency and associated budget

 

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience in Social Content Management Platforms (such as Sprout Social / HootSuite, etc.)
  • Experience in Web Content Management Systems (Sitecore, etc.)
  • Experience in Microsoft Office 365 and SharePoint
  • Proficient in a variety of Adobe Creative Suite tools (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.)
