Job Summary:
In this role, you will work under the direction of the Director, Global Supply Chain Center of Excellence (GSC CoE) and in collaboration with Global D&T function to develop, manage and continuously improve data reporting processes to achieve a fully integrated digital information eco-system. In addition, this role will be responsible to provide meaningful and detailed analysis of supply planning, logistics, and order related information used to accelerate decision making at all levels of the organization. Recommends innovative solutions and analysis, resulting in efficiencies and continuous improvement opportunities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Adopt and Promote industry best practices related to analytics usage
- Create mechanisms to use data as a strategic asset throughout the Global Supply Chain organization
- Coordinate various data streams for analytics and promote holistic data analysis
- Innovate, research, and expand analytics offerings
- Support the development of analytic metrics that establish a consistent, unified approach to data sourcing across the organization to tie analytics into all enterprise functions
- Assist development and improvement of reporting solutions across the Global Supply Chain organization
- Provide analytics results directly to business users, allowing them to identify trends and insights; also freeing other roles within Supply Management from developing their tools, metrics, data queries and reporting
- Locate the new and/or best sources for data to drive more effective and efficient analytics
- Support ERP activities representing the Supply Management team during system deployments
- Collaborate with GSC CoE team members to update and develop policies, procedures, work instructions
- Maintain data standards related to an area of specialization (vendor master, material master)
- Execute activities related to the implementation the S/4 HANA program
- Other duties as assigned
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in supply chain related analytics
- Previous roles in data analytics, data mining, data governance
- Significant experience working with large data sets from multiple systems and sources (SAP, APO, SAP BI, SharePoint, etc.)
- Experience developing and maintaining dashboards and reports through use of Power BI, Excel
- Knowledge of and experienced user of SAP, SAP BI
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Able to be aware of all relevant standard operating procedures as per Company policy as they are related to the position covered by this Job Description
- Support and contribute to Lean Sigma programs and activities towards delivery of the set target
- Able to comply with the company’s safety policy at all times
- Able to comply with the company’s quality policy at all times.
- APICS Certified
- Lean, Agile or Six Sigma certification a plus
- Project Management certification is a plus
Travel Requirements:
- Must be able to travel up to 10% of the time
Physical and Mental Requirements:
- This is a sedentary role in an office environment that requires long periods of computer-based activities.
