Job Summary:

  • In this role, you will work closely with Supply Chain and Commercial Leaders in collaboration with the Manager of Demand & Supply Optimization to analyze customer demand and prioritize orders across West’s global manufacturing network.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Own and maintain the Master Prioritization Model while incorporating feedback from cross-functional stakeholders to continuously improve the process
  • Develop and propose production strategies to fill prioritized orders by outlining internal & external outcomes, benefits, and trade-offs
  • Lead coordination across West’s manufacturing network when multiple facilities are required to process an order
  • Inform Commercial stakeholders across the Biologics, Generics and Pharmaceutical market units on the prioritization strategies and fill status for their specific requests
  • Lead weekly discussions with Customer Success to execute prioritization strategy, reconfirm customer orders and provide customer notice of order status
  • Liaison with Customer Success to execute prioritization of orders and tradeoff options in coordination with customer requirements
  • Responsible for reporting weekly request and execution metrics and variances for each manufacturing plant


Basic Qualifications: 

  • Bachelors degree in Supply Chain or Business Administration
  • Minimum 2 years experience in supply chain preferred


Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Supply Chain Background- basic understanding of the SIOP process
  • Experience using SAP, Microsoft Excel, Power BI
  • Able to analyze data and provide interpretation of trends or findings
  • Organized and able to manage time well
  • Knowledge of Healthcare environment
  • Strong leadership and project management skills
  • Strong collaborative skills with ability to be effective.
  • Result-oriented, decisive, and confident
  • Demonstrated poise, particularly under stressful conditions
  • Proficiency in English language is a must
  • Able to comply with the company’s safety and quality policy at all times.


Travel Requirements:

  • Infrequent travel requirements <10%
