Job Summary:

Manage Portfolio Optimization and Network Programs for the America's.  Responsible for supporting our customers, plant and corporate resources to ensure key strategic projects are executed on time.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for managing Portfolio Optimization Process.  Supporting the plants and product management in reviewing items in our portfolio.  Enabling the review and disposition of item identified with cross functional teams.  Executing on disposition to include creating change controls, follow up with approvals, database, supply chain task as needed. 
  • Support the creation of product strategy documents that describe business cases, high-level use cases, technical requirements, revenue opportunities and cost (operating margins).
  • Communicates with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that client commitments are followed through during design and deployment.
  • Ensure the use of Program Management Best Practices to manage overall scope, time, and budget. Drive accountability and execute programs to achieve committed milestones & deliverables.
  • Participate in working groups within the Project Management Department to resolve highly complex operational issues or improve department processes.
  • Support the execution of Network Programs for the America’s Region.  This includes, Plant Product Transfers (NetOps), risk assessments, TTEP execution and managing customer approvals. 
  • Lead and support continuous improvement projects throughout the region.  Projects should be focused on waste reduction and generate cost savings through operational efficiency gains.
  • Maintain clear communication paths with all functional stakeholders and be the voice and guardian of the overall key programs within the regional Network for effective integration and execution.
  • Lead and manage within the complexity of the Network across 6 sites in 2 countries aligned to common goals.
  • Co-chair timely, efficient, and action-oriented Project Team meetings and responsible for coordinating highly complex team operations and communication.
  • Partner with project leaders to develop, gain approval, and execute on the project strategy
  • Leads the development of project milestones and schedule values/billings project (operating margins).
  • Conforms with and abides by all country specific regulations, policies, work procedures, instruction, and all safety rules.

 

Basic Qualifications: 

  • Education or Equivalent Experience: Bachelor's in Chemical/Electrical/Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or other Science based program, Finance, Supply Chain Management
  • Strong Business Knowledge and Pharma Key Customer exposure
  • Knowledge and understanding of financial data
  • + 8 years in an Operational Role

Travel Requirements:

  • 20% - 30% travel

 

Physical & Mental Requirements:

  • Work in a manufacturing environment, subject to extreme heat and cold as well as loud noise.
  • Work in an office environment.  At times must sit for extended periods of time.
