Job Summary:

The Sr. Manager, Digital & Transformation, Reporting and Analytics is responsible for the delivery of analytical and reporting solutions across all process areas and systems. The role is responsible to validate the design approach, make recommendations based on expertise and best practice and to ensure timely and quality delivery.  In addition, this role must have in-depth knowledge and expertise of SAP BW on HANA & Power BI and continue to develop expertise in future platforms like SAP BW on HANA & Microsoft analytics platform.  

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead data-driven analysis and support in creating ana managing analytic models
  • Manages and, along with its team, delivers reporting and analytical solutions using SAP technology platforms; SAP BW, SAP BW on HANA and Azure Technologies like Data Factory, SQL IS, SQL AS and Power BI.
  • Leads and works with cross functional teams, as required, consisting of business analysts, insourced and outsourced technical resources, business process leads, project managers and system users globally to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of solutions and business process enhancements.
  • Provides direction aligned with strategy and performs quality control functions on all deliverables including standard and ad hoc reports.
  • Ensures production support incidents are resolved by the team in a timely and effective manner and enhancement requests are managed and delivered for new reporting and analytical capabilities.
  • Attracts, recruits, develops and builds capabilities across reporting and analytical competency areas   which include SAP BW and Microsoft Azure analytical platforms.
  • Inspires, coaches, trains, develops, motivates and evaluates team members to enable their capabilities and accomplish the department’s priorities.  
  • Reviews, and/or recommends new architecture and processes, changes to existing architecture and processes, and exceptions to architecture, technology, and process standards globally.
  • Maintains a current awareness of SAP & Microsoft product developments and trends and determine how they can be used to enhance productivity
  • Other duties as assigned


Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years of relevant work experience
  • Sedentary work in an office environment


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Sound knowledge of SAP business processes in areas of Production Planning, Procurement, Quality, Sales and Finance
  • Ability to work independently in a virtual environment in a global organization and to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with high flexibility and rapid response time
  • Experience managing at least 3-5 direct reports in a global matrix organization
  • Willingness to global travel
  • Able to always comply with the company’s safety and quality policies.


Physical and Travel Requirements

  • 15% travel, including global travel
  • Occasional on-call work required
  • Sedentary work, office environment
