Job Summary:
The Assoc Software Engineer, Digital and Transformation (D&T) requires knowledge and expertise to participate in the architectural design, development, and enhancement of applications. 


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Understands the overall vision, business needs and the solution architecture for overall Web Platform solutions
  • Design and develop implementations of new applications, enhancements, and implement new features to our web-based customer facing solution
  • Writes high-quality and sustainable code for web-based product development
  • Works to build business knowledge and to transform this knowledge and business requirements into technical specifications
  • Estimates technical requirements and breaks down work to user stories and tasks
  • Plans, develops, tests, deploys, and monitors of Web Platform solutions in a DevOps model
  • Works with Leads and Architects on various prototypes, or proof of concept, to test solution


Basic qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience 
  • 2-3 years of experience in .NET Core Development and Web Development in Cloud Platform (specifically in Azure)


Preferred Qualifications: 
Hands-on experience in the following:

  • Developing and Managing Web Platforms using Site Core CMS, .NET using C#, LINQ, and REST APIs
  • Site Core Experiences Platforms, Commerce Engines, using TDS for Site Core and developing solutions using ASP.NET MVC 
  • Strong programming and development experiences using .NET Framework and ASP.NET MVC, C#
  • Sound knowledge with scripting languages such JavaScript, CSS, HTML, XML etc.
  • Familiar and development expertise’s with following technologies: HTML5, ASP.NET, C#, MVC, WCF, WebAPI, RESTful Services, OAuth, SQL Server, Stored Procedures, TFS, Azure, Visual Studio, Entity Framework, JavaScript, TypeScript, Ajax, SVG, XAML, CSS 3.0, Razor, Dependency Injection, UI frameworks/libraries Understanding of REST, JSON, XML, SOAP, jQuery, jQuery, Backbone JS, Twitter Bootstrap, pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS
  • Experience with Azure PaaS (such App Services, Azure Storage, Application Insights, Azure Key Vaults, Azure Search etc.) 
  • Experience with troubleshooting solution from Azure Logs 
  • Familiar with Unit Testing and Code coverages
  • Understanding of full stack applications and ability to address the front-end and back-end
  • Excellent knowledge of relational databases, design database model, optimizing Store procedure etc.
  • Experience developing interactive web applications using at least one popular web framework
  • Understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates and AJAX.
  • Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD) / DevOps for Web Platforms development and Deployment Automation Testing for Web Framework
  • Using Various code repositories like Git, TFS, etc
  • Developing in an Agile methodology with Visual Studio Team Services (VSTS)

Very good understanding and knowledge of the following:

  • Overall web development stacks, Site core CMS Stacks and road maps
  • Utilize current and upcoming industry trends and practices to developed Sitecore CMS based web platform
  • Proficient in Web Development Tools
  • Experience with streamlining Sitecore solution deployment using DevOps 
  • Familiar with SAP API and CRM Integration is a plus
  • Able to be aware of all relevant SOPs as per Company policy as they are related to the position covered by this Job Description 
  • Able to comply with the company’s safety and quality policy at all times
  • Overall 3+ years of experiences in Web development (Minimum 1 years with Site Core) Sitecore certified 
  • Experience developing web applications with Sitecore 8.x and 9.0
  • Ability to work in a global and virtual environment and to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment; utilize sound judgment with an ability to manage multiple priorities with a sense of urgency.
