Job summary:

As a key member of the West HR and recruiting team, this person will help us shape the future talent profile of West. By identifying and attracting top talent to West for a variety of roles with local and global scope, this recruiting expert will play a key role as the organization grows and transforms. This individual will provide recruiting expertise and give strategic direction to the business and will become a partner and consultant to client stakeholders, including the site HR team. They will work to develop, communicate and execute jointly on recruiting plans to support the sites. They will efficiently lead and manage the recruitment process for various roles in an international matrix organization in order to ensure a seamless, positive candidate and client experience no matter what the hiring decision might be.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead sourcing, application management, screening, selection to onboarding through the global process
  • Responsible for consulting with the business to develop recruitment plans and manage the recruitment lifecycle across various functions
  • Conduct in-depth candidate screens and assess potential candidates for level of interest, qualifications, compensation requirements and overall fit to the organization
  • Identify and convert hard-to-find passive talent by constantly exploring new talent channels and tapping into those channels to introduce them to West and the West employee value proposition
  • Advise Hiring Managers on our recruitment strategies, interview guidelines and processes
  • Build and monitor recruitment KPIs and manage stakeholder satisfaction
  • Accountable for taking proactive action to continuously evaluate processes, tools and technology to drive improvement and incorporate best practices
  • Collaborate with Managers and HR partners to develop a strong understanding of department culture, business strategy and talent profiles to deliver on the hiring needs of the business
  • Establish and build relationships with other recruiters and HR team to share knowledge, HR trends and experiences to execute best practices enterprise wide
  • Provide data, research and analysis on competitive intelligence, labor trends, information about external marketplace and West’s employer brand position to attract top talent



  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business or Human Resources discipline
  • Minimum 5 years of recruiting experience in an agency, search firm or preferably a corporate setting
  • Strong administrative and computer skills including Microsoft Office, applicant tracking systems and social media channels
  • Knowledge of sourcing techniques using a variety of sourcing tools and platforms
  • Ability to multitask in a high-pressure environment
  • Fluent in German and English, oral and written
