Position Summary:

The Manufacturing Maintenance Department has an essential role within West´s Global Engineering team to support existing and new capacity growth. In this role you will lead the SAP PM Data strategy in close contact with the global Equipment SME and site teams. You will provide support for SAP data setup in the plants and maintenance preventive task list standardization. Support the SAP Hana project for Maintenance, developing a global system with the specific needs within a GMP environment. Global approach in creation of BOM’s for existing and new equipment.  Provide consistent Engineering support and guidance to the global facilities, equipment & tooling teams to achieve corporate goals for Quality, Overall Efficiency, Cost Reduction, Safety and Well-being.

 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • Review, understand, and support creation of maintenance plans
  • Setup and/or participate in equipment criticality studies for new and existing equipment
  • Standardize Maintenance plans, coordinate with the sites and develop a global approach
  • Coordinate with system owners and sites to establish global data governance rules for PM master data
  • Provide technical and training support for the PM system to all sites
  • Responsible for the integrity of the PM Master Data management system and develop a system to define global maintenance KPIs
  • Support & recommend improvements to the asset management program for equipment and facilities
  • Train and mentor the engineering team as well as maintain competency and state-of-art knowledge
  • Actively participate in the creation and support of SAP PM Hana by designing and finalizing the master data elements to be captured globally for PM master data objects
  • Resolve issues and coordinate activities by serving as the focal point between the different stakeholders, project team and sites

 

 

Qualifications:

  • You have a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electro-Mechanical Engineering or Maintenance
  • To be successful in this role, you have a minimum of 5 years of experience in similarly situated role with emphasis on SAP Master Data and PM
  • In addition, you have a proven ability to manage PM system including data entry and management as well as in SAP PM module
  • You muss posses advanced level skills in Excel and other MS Office functionality
  • With your outstanding organizational and problem-solving skills, you handle multiple projects effectively with minimal direction
  • In our dynamic environment, you will be comfortable to see beyond the boundaries and have self-confidence in presenting and supporting conclusions
  • The ability to be a creative thinker and solution searcher as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English round off your profile
