Job Summary:


The Analyst, HRIS is responsible for overseeing the development of HR web-based applications and managing access and permissions within HR systems. This role requires a strong technical background, deep knowledge of HR processes, and expertise in HR systems administration. The Analyst, HRIS will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and enhance HR web-based applications, while also ensuring data security and compliance through effective access and permissions management in HR systems.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
•    Support the design, development, and maintenance of HR web-based applications, working closely with HR stakeholders and IT teams. 
•    Continuously assess and optimize HR systems, processes, and workflows to improve efficiency and user experience. Identify opportunities for automation and streamline HR processes through system enhancements. 
•    Work with the entire HRIS team to develop user-friendly interfaces, functionalities, and workflows to support HR processes, such as employee self-service.
•    Ensure the applications are aligned with the organization's security and compliance standards.
•    Serve as the subject matter expert for HR systems administration, including core SAP HCM and internally built, West Digital applications. 
•    Collaborate with HR and IT teams to troubleshoot system issues and implement upgrades
•    Develop and implement data security protocols and procedures to safeguard HR data within HR systems.
•    Collaborate with IT and HR teams to conduct regular audits and implement appropriate controls.
•    Scenario creation and testing: Collaborate with HR and IT teams during HR system implementations to create and test various scenarios. This involves defining and configuring system workflows, rules, and notifications to simulate real-life HR processes. 
•    Develop test plans and scripts to ensure system functionality, data accuracy, and integration with other HR systems. Conduct thorough testing of scenarios, identifying and resolving any issues or discrepancies.
•    Provide feedback and recommendations to improve system performance and user experience based on testing results.

 

Basic Qualifications: 
•    Education or Equivalent Experience: Bachelor’s Degree preferably with an Human Resource, Information Technology or Business Management.
•    Experience: 3-5 years of experience in Human Resources 
•    2 years of experience in HRIS administration, including experience in developing HR web-based applications.
•    Strong understanding of HRMS database design, structure, functions and processes, and reporting tools
•    Strong understanding of HR processes and data
•    Strong analytical skills with ability to collect, organize, analyze and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.

 

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
•    Experience in SAP, UltiPro Software, Kronos and SuccessFactors preferred
•    Able to be aware of all relevant standard operating procedures as per Company policy as they are related to the position covered by this Job Description 
•    Experience in a process-driven environment and / or with process mapping and taxonomy


Physical and Mental Requirements:
•    Sedentary - exerting up to 10lbs/4kgs of force occasionally, and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to life, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body.  Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time.  Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met
•    Standard office environment; extensive use of computers and telephone. 
•    Requires at times the carrying of equipment/materials.
•    Communication, coordination, hand-eye coordination skills. 
•    Applies judgment to resolve routine situations. 
•    Writes clear, concise and neat information.
