Job Summary:
In this Role as Technical Manager,D&T, Network and Cybersecurity We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network and Cybersecurity Technical Manager to lead our network and cybersecurity team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of network architecture, protocols, and cybersecurity best practices. This role involves both technical expertise and leadership, as the manager will be responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of our network infrastructure and cybersecurity measures.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of our organization's network architecture to meet performance, scalability, and availability requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather network requirements , translate them into technical solutions, to align network and cybersecurity strategies with organizational goals.
• Oversee the configuration, deployment, and ongoing management of network devices, including routers, switches, load balancers, and wireless access points.
• Develop and maintain network documentation, diagrams, inventory, enforce cybersecurity policies, procedures, and standards to safeguard our data, systems, and sensitive information.
• Lead the deployment and management of security technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, VPNs, and endpoint protection.
• Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration testing to identify and mitigate potential threats.
• Lead incident response efforts in case of security breaches, ensuring rapid containment and resolution.
• Provide regular status updates and reports to senior management on the performance, security, and improvements of the network infrastructure.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and tools that can enhance our network performance and security posture.
• Provide strategic recommendations to senior management on network and cybersecurity investments and initiatives.
• Communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders, translating complex technical concepts into understandable terms.
• Manage budget allocation for network and cybersecurity projects, ensuring efficient resource utilization.
Basic Qualifcation:
Bachelor/Master’s degree with at least 10 – 12 years of experience in the infrastructure domain with at-least 11 years’ years of experience in network engineering and cybersecurity roles, with proven expertise in network design, configuration, and security implementation.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Proven experience in network engineering and cybersecurity roles, with a strong background in network design, implementation, and administration.
• Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles, including encryption, authentication, intrusion detection, and vulnerability assessment.
• Experience with firewall technologies, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and security information and event management (SIEM) solutions.
• Relevant certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, CISSP, CISM, or other industry-recognized certifications.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide technical professionals.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
• Experience in project management and a proven track record of successfully delivering network and cybersecurity projects on time and within budget.
