Job Summary:

In this role, as a Senior Solution Architect, you will design, develop, document, test, and enhance highly available, distributed, scalable and secure compute systems and platforms. You will explore computer vision use-cases, develop systems and applications in our next generation digital factory, and develop embedded software for medical devices.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

•    Create prototypes that explore innovative ideas.
•    Utilize knowledge and experience to devise hardware integration test procedures.
•    Write well-designed, self-documented, testable, performant, secure, and efficient code.
•    Research and implement emerging technologies to create competitive advantage.
•    Work with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and translate to technical designs
•    Contribute to the continued improvement of standards and processes.
•    Mentor the team members as required 
•    Other duties as assigned

Education and Experience:

•    Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or equivalent, or equivalent
•    5-8 years related work experience
•    Minimum 5 years as a professional programmer in Embedded C/ C++, Python, Erlang/Elixir, golang


Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
•    Possess a strong level of curiosity, interest, desire, and eagerness to learn new technologies quickly
•    Possess deep understanding of the complete product cycle of embedded software/firmware development
•    Experience with agile development practices such as DevOps
•    Experience with object-oriented design and programming
•    In depth experience in development concepts such as multi-threading and concurrency
•    Embedded C experience is a plus
•    Experience with OpenCV or equivalent computer vision library
•    Experience programming for NVIDIA Jetson, Google Coral, or similar
•    Familiarity with Machine Learning is a plus.


Physical & Travel Requirements
•    10% travel, including global
•    Ability to make independent and sound judgments.
•    Analyze and solve problems.
