Job Summary:
The D&T Director of Network and Cybersecurity Operations is an integral part of the D&T Infrastructure & Cybersecurity organization and is responsible for overseeing the West organization’s overall Network and cybersecurity landscape globally. The role supervises all aspects of D&T’s Network and cybersecurity platforms including design, development, implementation, incident response, budgets, life cycle management and adherence to various regulations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Leads the development and delivery of Next Generation WAN/LAN architecture across the enterprise.
- Drives agile and DevOps culture of implementation and product management within the Network and Cybersecurity team.
- Works closely with Director of Cloud Architecture & Infrastructure Engineering in designing the future Wide Area Network framework which includes transitioning to next generation SD-WAN and Integration with cloud infrastructure.
- Serves as a Network and Cybersecurity expert for West externally and internally.
- Leads third party Security Assessment and audit globally to ensure vendors and service providers adhere to West Cybersecurity guidelines and policies.
- Leads the network and security evaluation and oversight of the implementation of innovative technologies, policies, and procedures for optimal business network operations.
- Ensures key performance indicators are met and threats/vulnerabilities are mitigated. This includes Security Incident & Event Management as well as daily threat analysis.
- Leads remediating network security control deficiencies in a timely & pragmatic way.
- Support and further enhance network perimeter security program and technologies within Enterprise. I
- Provides strategic direction to Network and Security Operation Centers.
- Monitors systems and activities related to cyber incident and exposure, vulnerability release monitoring and tracking.
- Overseeing vulnerability audits, penetration tests and forensic IT investigations, ensuring that any outcomes are understood and applied.
- Performs routine threat and vulnerability assessment and provide subject matter expertise on appropriate threats mitigation.
- Manages security incidents and events to protect assets, including intellectual property, Personal information, regulated data and the company's reputation.
- Develops, implements, and monitors a strategic, comprehensive enterprise information security program to ensure the integrity, confidentiality and availability of information is controlled.
- Assists in the preparation of annual operating and capital budget plans and priorities for the Infrastructure and Cybersecurity team. Ensure the budgets meet D&T objectives.
- Develops and tracks the operational metrics and reporting to demonstrate risk control and compliance.
- Maintains deep technical and business knowledge of different Network and Cloud technologies and supporting solution areas and develop innovative technology integrations and solution capabilities.
- Conforms with and abides by all regulations, policies, work procedures, instruction, and all safety rules.
- Provides leadership, coaching and direction to the Network and Cybersecurity team.
- Builds and maintains strong relationships with business leaders across Operations, Commercial and other functions to build alignment, collaboration, and support.
- Performs other duties as assigned based on business needs.
Education and Experience:
- Master’s degree or equivalent experience
- 10+ years of work experience
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Extensive working knowledge of networking, switches, routers, TCP/IP, WAN (Wide Area Network), LAN (Local Area Network), SIP (System Integration Point), Firewall, Application Load balancer, etc.
- Advanced knowledge of attack vectors, threat trends, mitigation strategies, intrusion analysis, malware analysis, anomalous behavior, and incident response protocols.
- Deep understanding and experience in Microsoft Azure Express Route, VNET, WAF (Web Application Firewall), Front Door, and other software defined network objects in Azure.
- Ability to work in a virtual environment in a global organization and to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with high flexibility and rapid response time.
- Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced & complex environment with a self-motivated work ethic; utilize sound judgment with an ability to manage multiple priorities with a sense of urgency.
- Demonstrated ability to exercise independent judgment in making decisions and resolving complex problems related to general & technical aspects of the job. Decisions made with in-depth understanding and interpretation of procedures, policies, and business practices to achieve results.
- Preferred but not required: Agile & Scrum Certification.
- Able to be aware of all relevant SOPs as per Company policy as they are related to the position covered by this Job Description.
- Able to comply with the company’s safety and quality policies at all times.
